Brother Joseph's passion for iconography began in 1990, when a priest handed him a reproduction of the "Our Lady of Vladimir" icon and said "I want you to paint this."

Then, handing him a copy of Leonard Ouspensky's The Meaning of Icons, he added "Like this!"

Joseph currently accepts commissions, and is available to speak on iconography and the iconographic tradition.
