The Calligraphy of Roy Parker, OHC

Once upon a time Br. Roy, enthralled by the beauty of Italic handwriting, took up the art and craft of calligraphy. Before long, he was able to apprentice with Beva Farmer of Pebble Beach, CA; she handed on to him the skills of the late Lloyd Reynolds, the master from whom many calligraphers have derived so much inspiration. As one might expect, Roy's skills and abilities have matured with the passing years, aided and abetted by the continuing education that he has been able to pursue. Samples of his latest work appear below. If you would like to contact him, you may send an e-mail to calligraphy@mount-calvary.org.
