The guesthouse is open from Tuesday morning through Sunday afternoon, offering accommodations Tuesday through Saturday nights. The suggested donations are as follows:
Your meals and your linens are included in the cost of the room. The meals are served buffet style in our dining room. We cannot alter the menu to meet individual dietary needs. Cooking facilities are not available to guests. Limited refrigerator space is available as well as a microwave oven for those with personal needs.
Day use only of the guesthouse is $10 per person per meal.
The non-refundable deposit for room reservation is $50 per person. We accept MasterCard or VISA or you may mail a check for the deposit.
To make an individual reservation, please call the guesthouse office at (805) 962-9855 ext. 10 during the hours of 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Tuesday to Friday. You may also make an e-mail inquiry at reservations@mount-calvary.org. The guesthouse office is closed Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
One of the ministries of a Benedictine monastery is to provide a place of quiet withdrawal from the distractions of ordinary life. To help preserve this atmosphere, a reasonable quiet is observed at all times in the guesthouse and full silence (no talking anywhere) from 10:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays and from 8:30 pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, until after breakfast. Breakfast on Friday is not silent.
